So, here it is. Leandi is my spring and summer of 2009. More specifically it’s my most sincere release in a very long time.

It’s the result of looking at the creation process in a different light, without engaging in reasoning and just letting the music come as it may.

Normally I would venture into more ambient landscapes and experimental sounds, but I wanted this release to be simple and open.

Heavily inspired by childhood, fatherhood, watching my son grow up, play, communicate and learn the ways of the world.

Leandi is free to download, because in these times it’s important to me that it is. It’s my way of giving something back, and I hope you will enjoy it!

That said, have a listen and let me know what you think :)

Thanks to ~

Anne for encouraging me to make music and for listening and helping me shape the early drafts.

Ossi (Planet Boelex) for all the sincere feedback, for the final mastering and for the superb work on Nanomies.

Niklas Nummelin for the excellent work on the Tickles-track, bigger projects ahead, yes?

Antti (fthr productions) for the artwork, you truly captured the mood of the music, kiitos.

Also, thanks to Johan Elm for encouraging the old school, and to Peter Hippeläinen for the new school.

DUDE. You music is AMAZING. I’m totally loving Leandi. PERFECT with a nice hot cup of coffee (candied up the way I like it), whilst doing some reading or whatever. I can really feel alot coming through your music, and I appreciate the clean analog and FM tightness in there. Just LOVELY — you’ve got a new fan in the USA my friend!

I just wanted to stop by and say thanks for this masterpiece that in no way trails any commercial release I came across over the last couple of months.

It’s relaxing, extremely melodic and to me grasps the spirit of computer arts in a very modern way, yet positively oldschool.

Keep on, this is truly one of my favourites!
